1. Scope of the Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Wallis KostBar AG in connection with the event “Rebsortenwanderung Salgesch”.

They become valid in the version applicable at the time of ticket purchase via the platform of the third-party provider used.
Any deviating provisions on the part of participants shall have no validity.
By purchasing a ticket, the participant expressly agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

 

2. Ticket sales and conclusion of the contract

2.1 Ticket sales

Tickets for the Rebsortenwanderung Salgesch may be purchased exclusively via the third-party ticketing platform designated by Wallis KostBar AG.

Selling or reselling tickets via other platforms or channels is not permitted.

Alternatively, a ticket code may be obtained via an authorised sales channel (e.g. stand operators or partners). This code must be redeemed on the third-party ticketing platform.

2.2 Ordering and payment process

At least the following information is required to purchase a ticket:

The ticket purchase constitutes a binding offer to purchase.
The contract is concluded only upon purchase confirmation by email from the third-party provider.

Payment is made exclusively using the payment methods offered on the ticketing platform.
Wallis KostBar AG is not liable for technical problems in the third-party provider’s ordering or payment system.

 

3. Tickets and participation

3.1 Ticket provision

Tickets are provided exclusively in digital form by the third-party provider (by email or via the user account).
No physical tickets will be sent.

3.2 Ticket requirement

Participation in the event without a valid ticket is not permitted.

If the ticket cannot be presented digitally on the day of the event, there is no entitlement to the vouchers or services included in the ticket price.

3.3 Transfer of tickets

Tickets may be transferred, provided the participating person is at least 16 years old.

 

4. Prices

The prices for the grape variety hike are based on the published price information and/or the agreed budget.
All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF).

Price changes are reserved, in particular for services provided by partners or third-party providers.

 

5. VAT

Prices include the statutory VAT of 8.1%.

6. Running of the event

6.1 Weather

The event will take place in all weather conditions.

6.2 Route and accessibility

The hike follows roads, unpaved roads and hiking trails.
The route is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.

6.3 Animals

Bringing animals to the event is prohibited.

 

7. Refunds and ticket conditions

Ticket refunds are excluded.

This applies in particular in the event of cancellation, interruption or adjustment of the event due to:

Cash payment or reimbursement of unused vouchers is excluded.
Vouchers expire if they are not redeemed on the ticket’s validity date.

Vouchers from guest regions are subject exclusively to the terms and conditions of the respective issuers.
Wallis KostBar AG assumes no liability in this regard. Cash payment or replacement is excluded.

In the event of cancellation, a possible postponement of the event will be reviewed and implemented where possible.

 

8. Consumption, vouchers and stand operators

8.1 Consumption

Food and beverages are provided by the respective stand operators.
Consumption must be paid directly to the respective stand operator.

Stand operators act independently and on their own account.
Only their own contractual and business terms and conditions apply to their services.

8.2 Vouchers from wine orders

Vouchers to which the participant is entitled when ordering wine as part of the Rebsortenwanderung Salgesch are sent exclusively by the respective stand operators.

The respective stand operators are solely liable for issuing, sending and redeeming these vouchers, as well as for any claims arising from them.
Wallis KostBar AG assumes no liability whatsoever in this regard.

Vouchers from the guest regions may only be redeemed in person and are non-transferable.

The vouchers may not be sold.

 

9. Zones and times

The event is divided into time-limited zones:

10. Serving, provision of food and conduct

Serving alcohol, providing food and beverages, or admission to the event may be refused without refund:

By purchasing a ticket, the participant confirms that they have reached the legal minimum age for purchasing and consuming wine.
Age checks may be carried out at any time.

 

11. Insurance

Participation is at your own risk.

Wallis KostBar AG does not provide insurance for participants.
It is the participant’s responsibility to take out adequate accident, health and rescue cost insurance.

It is recommended to take out comprehensive accident insurance as well as a patron membership with the Swiss Air-Rescue Service (Rega).

Ticket insurance is also the participant’s responsibility.

 

12. Disclaimer of liability

Wallis KostBar AG excludes liability to the extent permitted by law.

In particular, no liability is assumed for:

For services provided by third-party providers, only their own contractual terms apply.

 

13. Copyright and website content

All content on the Wallis KostBar AG website is protected by copyright.
All rights belong to Wallis KostBar AG or third parties.

The content is freely accessible exclusively for browsing purposes.
The reproduction, copying, transmission, modification, linking or use of the website or parts thereof for public or commercial purposes is prohibited without the prior written consent of Wallis KostBar AG.

Downloading or copying the website does not transfer any rights to software, trademarks, logos or other elements.

Photos will be taken during the hike. If you do not agree to this or do not want these photos to be used for the website, please inform Wallis KostBar AG in advance.

 

14. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions

Wallis KostBar AG reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
The version valid at the time of ticket purchase shall apply.

 

15. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies exclusively in accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) and the Swiss Civil Code (CC), to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Wallis KostBar AG.
